» Chandra Mahal Haveli
The mansion was built by rich Muslim nobles in the 1850's and its proximity
to the mughal durbar is apparent in the architecture which reminds one of Fatehpur
Sikri. Among the activities of interest organised here are visits to the villages
where carpet weavers can be seen at work.
The Chandra Mahal Haveli in its full grandeur stands imposingly over the sylvan
countryside. Picturesquely located at Peharsar, the haveli is structured to
allow maximum interplay of sunlight and fresh air, keeping it in sync with nature.
During winters, one can see a vast panoramda of mustard and wheat field, wich
blend with the colourful and ethenic culture of the region.

¤ SARISKA WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
» Sariska Palace

This
former palace & royal hunting lodge on the edge of Sariska National Park
was built by the Maharaja of Alwar, for the visit of Queen Victoria`s son, the
Duke of Connaught. Its architecture is a blend of French, regal, with eastern
detailing & is now a Heritage Hotel. The interior is not opulent but it
does have some Louis XIV & art deco furniture, along with wicker chairs
& Victoriana. The rooms & suites are gigantic (with typical high ceilings)
& clean, with phones but no TVs; Some are air-conditioned. The lovely flower
bedecked grounds are encircled by a large wall to keep the animals out, though
they often find their way in. At times you may be lucky to see wildlife while
relaxing on the hotel terrace itself.

are delighted to introduce a new resort in the beautiful lush green, and tranquil
surroundings of the land of the White Tiger-Bandhavgarh National Park. This
resort was conceptualized, designed and now managed by professionals from the
service industry. The resort has 18 elegantly furnished luxury cottages. The
balcony of the cottages overlooks the marvellous and gigantic hills of the Vindhyanchal
range.
At the Tiger's Den ( Resort, Bandhavgarh ) your day begins just before dawn
with wake up call along with a cup of tea/coffee at the designated time (i.e.
if you are not already up by some call from the inhabitants of the Jungle of
Bandhavgarh ). An open Gypsy awaits you to take you even more closer to the
nature and to see the majestic 'Royal Bengal Tiger. We provide some fruits neatly
packed and a bottle of mineral water for your 4 hour safari in the jungle.
When you come back from there is running hot /cold water in the attached luxurious
bathrooms including a bubble bath if you so desire. Breakfast is served in the
Restaurant serving delicious and a rich variety of Indian, Chinese, Italian

We have a 24 hrs power backup with a stand by generator. Adapters are provided

» Royal Tiger Resort
The Royal Tiger Resort at Kanha is tastefully designed over an area of 6 acres
in Kanha National Park. This 3-star property is ideally located very close to
the entrance of the park at Mukki. A dense forest of mature sal trees surrounds
this resort consisting of eighteen excellent suites. These suites are thoughtfully
distributed around the resort in clustersof 2 and 4 to cater to different size
groups.
The rooms in these suites are airy and offer an excellent view of the surrounding
jungle thanks to the large windows.
The rooms feel fresh and are cleaned daily by the efficient resort staff.
The attached bathrooms are of excellent quality and come as a pleasant surprise
in this wild area. Each suite has an adjoining verandah, which is an ideal
place to have a cup of tea or some refreshments while reading a book on nature.

To ensure that you do not suffer due to the erratic power situation in the
area, the resort has it's own full generator back up facility.
This ensures you stay cool in summers and vice-versa. It also ensures a round
the clock supply of hot and cold running water in the washrooms.
The resort has an excellent dining hall located beautifully among the wonders
of nature. It also offers a machan on the roof, where one can sit and observe
the surroundings while enjoying a drink or a nice hot soup after a tiring
trip into the jungle. The kitchen is well equipped and caters thoughtfully
to all pallets.
Basic first aid facilities are available at the resort but for anything requiring
more serious attention, one only needs to make a short trip to the nearby towns
of Baiyar or Malachkhand.
The resort has in-house naturalists who can be contacted for any enquiries
and information. These naturalists also escort the visitors during their trips
into the jungle. Transport facilities for touring the jungle are available
at the resort itself. Arrangements can also be made at the resort for elephant

» Kanha Jungle Lodge
Kanha Jungle Lodge is near Kanha National Park. Kanha, with an area of 1940
sq. km (740 sq. miles), at an altitude of 460 MSL (1500 ft.) is situated in
the State of Madhya Pradesh, in the heart of India, a region that has a rich
habitat encouraging a wide variety of wildlife. A forest of deciduous hardwood,
including Sal is interspersed with stands of bamboo and accented with colorful
displays of flowering trees. The valley and plateaus are primarily meadow lands
(or maidans) in pleasant contrast to the surrounding lush woodlands. Within
their boundaries Kanha protects a multitude of animals and birds, such as Chital,
Chausinga (4-horned antelope) Sambar, Muntjak (barking deer), Gaur, leopard,
